In 2010, Ada accepted a place in Women in Director’s Chair in Banff, Calgary under the guidance of Creative Women Workshop. She has completed an exercise demo of the main scene called The Kill taken from her first feature film project Suki.

Upon completion of WIDC program, Ada and 4 other 2010 fellow WIDC director participants along with WIDC producer Carol Whiteman were invited as panellists on TAWC ACTION TALK during ACTRA Toronto Members Conference.

Two new projects are slated for further development Melia, a hotel where romances begin on the island of Cuba and The Chair, which is about the chair of Metropolitan Toronto Police Service Board, Susan Eng.

Ada applies her excellent networking skill in facilitating several film, festival and cultural exchange programs with OPEn Planet Co.

Fantasy745 was screened in Cinemadamare, Italy, Female Eye Film Festival, Toronto and ReelWorld Film Festival, Toronto.

Present projects include 3 feature films in development: Suki, a tragic story about passion set in a Kabuki theatre; Crystals, a comedic sci-fi about the survival in a waterless world; and Marco, formerly named Morales, Martin y Matteo about child prostitution and exploitation. Major elements of Affaires have been incorporated into Crystals.

Ada is also executive producer on a pair of short films, The Competition and Waiting for Dorothy

The Dawning won the Bronze Remi Award at the WorldFest in Houston, Texas for Ada Vaughan. It was Ben Lichty’s second Remi award recognition among many others.

CombOver, a documentary short, directed by Ada for Taffe Entertainment.

Waiting for Summer, a feature film produced by Newground Films, where, Ada serves as an advisor, is currently at post.

Daniel Muzur, the director/producer/writer for The Competition, has become one of ReelWorld Film Festival Emerging 20.

Dorothy Atabong, the lead in If Only…, has garnered the Emerging Artist Award in Summer Works.
