Ada Vaughan has added Heaven of Heart, Camp X to her roster of development projects. 

Ada has just signed up to direct Reba, a dramatic feature based on the murder of Reena Virk, produced by Enchanted Productions.

She has set up SableFeatures.com to showcase her feature film projects currently in progress. 

In 2009, Ada was one of 8 filmmakers from across Canada who was accepted into the Women in Director’s Chair program in Banff, Calgary under the guidance of Creative Women Workshop.  She used the opportunity to film a main scene from the feature film project Suki, titled The Kill.

In 2010, Ada and 4 other 2010 fellow WIDC director participants, along with WIDC producer Carol Whiteman, were invited as panellists on TAWC ACTION TALK during the ACTRA Toronto Members Conference. 

Since 2009, Ada has been focusing on feature film development, including: Suki, a tragic story about passion set in a Kabuki theatre; Crystals, a musical sci-fi about a post apocalyptic world (included elements of Affaires); Renee, a drama about romance and hope (formerly Melia) and Marco, another dramaabout child exploitation.

Fantasy745 was screened in Cinemadamare, Italy, Female Eye Film Festival, Toronto and ReelWorld Film Festival, Toronto.  The Dawning won the Bronze Remi Award at the WorldFest in Houston, Texas.  One of its leads, Daniel Muzur, is one of 2010 ReelWorld Film Festival Emerging 20.  Dorothy Atabong, the lead in If Only…, has garnered the Emerging Artist Award in Summer Works.
